Listen to me Ramble while you Nod Off

I'm not quite sure what this is going to be, but I want to record something that is a little bit more low key. Something I don't have spend 2 weeks editing and worrying about. Maybe just lay here with your eyes closed and and slowly sleep to my voice. I'm really trying to keep this as quiet and as I don't wanna have to edit this down all the way. So, if I say something stupid, just pretend like I didn't say anything at all or pretend like I said, something that was really, really soothing.

So I think I might just ramble about things that ask me. You know, whenever I need a quiet moment to myself, if I have the resources and the allotted time, I like to go go out in nature. Specifically, I like hiking. So I recently went on a hike, and it was very nice. I currently we reside next to, protected land.

So I went for a little hike. I I got, like, a lunch from a deli. And I went walking, and I was just kinda, like, looking at the scenery. There is a couple of cute plants and a shitload of sand …

So I think I might just ramble about things that ask me. You know, whenever I need a quiet moment to myself, if I have the resources and the allotted time, I like to go go out in nature. Specifically, I like hiking. So I recently went on a hike, and it was very nice. I currently we reside next to, protected land.

So I went for a little hike. I I got, like, a lunch from a deli. And I went walking, and I was just kinda, like, looking at the scenery. There is a couple of cute plants and a shitload of sand just because that's the area I live in. And I was walking for maybe 15, 20 minutes.

And I was getting, you know, I was getting kinda hungry because I hadn't eaten all day. And I was like, man, how much longer? Because I knew there was a, like, a campsite arrest area. Sarah thought there there's a rest area or a campsite soon. So I was just walking along.

And, eventually, I was like, okay. I'm not anywhere near the campsite. It had been, like, maybe 10 more minutes had elapsed, and I was just in the middle we're fucking nowhere. And it was great. I couldn't hear.

There's no construction. There was no like, I couldn't hear any cars. I couldn't hear anybody. And I just, like, popped down where I was in the and I was like, okay. Cool.

It's super quiet. And I kept like it was weird. I kept trying to reach for my phone, like, every 10 seconds. I was like, okay. I'm just gonna sit here and drink in the scenery, I'm gonna eat my lunch.

And it was really, really nice, but it's very difficult to not wanna look at my phone every 10 seconds, especially because if I wanna, like, look at my Twitter or I wanna look at to see if I'm if anyone, like, bought anything on OnlyFans or anything. So I'm like, it it was really hard to just, like, not do it, but it was it was good. I liked my lunch. I got a sweet tea, and I think I got a caprese salad. I can't remember.

I don't it wasn't I don't know what it was. It was like a salad with a bunch of, mozzarella cheese and made it. So it might have been a Caprese, but there was, like, lettuce in it or some I don't know. Whatever. And I got a sweet and I got a water.

I was really stacked up for this lunch, and it was I got bit up by mosquitoes like a shitload. And I'm I think I still have bug bites in some areas. But, you know, it's nice. I was trying to, like, see if I could find any, like, bugs or anything, like, any weird bugs or anything, but wasn't there wasn't anything. There's just the regular like, there's, like, ants.

I finished my lunch, and I got up. And I started to walk back, and I was, like, pretty sure. Like, I usually, I pay attention to where I'm going. Like, I can find my way back. If I if I walk somewhere, I can find my way back from where I was.

But I was I was I was gonna, like, lose that ability because I didn't I didn't tell anyone where I was going. So I was like, am I just I got lost in the woods and, like, never come. But it was fine. It was I I kept on back the way I came. And I made my way back to the start the trail.

And I got back in my car, and I went home. I took a fat shower, it was awesome. So that's something I like to do to relax myself. Let's see. You know what me more than anything is when I am laying in bed and I'm about to go to sleep and I'm, like, dozing off, and my cat, like, climbs up to sleep with me, like, specifically to sleep in my arm.

Hey, buddy. I was just talking about and he, like he'll climb on me, or, like, on my chest or on my arm, and he just wants me to, like, cuddle him while I sleep. And it's really, really cute. So that's relaxing. I recently purchased a weighted blanket because it was on sale, like, 90% off or thing.

And I was kinda skeptical because I was like, oh, it's it's just a blanket. Like, I already have too many blankets. Don't have a space for all of them, but I like I was like, okay. I'm gonna try it Oh, and it was it was like I had something else to do. Like, I was like, I told someone I was gonna play video games with them something.

But I, like, sat in bed, and I put the weighted blanket on. And I was, like, laying there. I was like, watching YouTube or whatever and just trying to, like, cool down after work. And I was like, damn. I really like, I get back up.

Like, this weighted blanket is really comfortable. And it came with, like, an eye mask, which or, like, a sleep mask, which I didn't have before as as another thing that I wanted, I didn't even realize that they were, like, bundled. I slept really, really good that night, and I had some some dreams with my weighted blanket and my, sleep mask. I think my big problem with sleep masks, they're they're really great, but, because they they're, it's, like, comfortable to have something, like, around your eyes. Like, it you know, I just I I find comfort in feeling something there.

But, the problem is they either, like, fall off when I'm sleeping, and then I get, like I'm, like, upset that it didn't stay on or it does stay on while I'm sleeping and I sleep until, like, noon and the the sun is, like, high into the air, and I'll, like I don't realize what time it is, and I take it off and I, like, myself. They're still comfortable. I still enjoy having 1 on. And speaking of sleep stuff, I recently purchased some nicer bedsheets because I've been rocking the same pair of bedsheets for longer than I should have. And I really, like, skimped out on the last set.

So now that I have, like, a little bit more income. I was like, yeah. I'm gonna buy some, like, super, super nice. Like, I don't really know anything about thread count Egyptian cotton or whatever. But I was on, like, Bed Bath and Beyond, and I was like, yeah.

I'm gonna get, like, a 300 count. And then I was can you do, like, a, like, a 400 count? And I was like, oh, you can do, like, a 600 count, like, thread count. And I was like, yeah. I'll buy a 600 thread count Egyptian cotton.

And it it feels nice. Like, they they feel like hotel bedsheets, but, like, when you first get into hotel bedsheets, and you're like, oh, these are really comfortable. So, like, those bedsheets and my weighted like it it's like that shit goes so hard. And, I recently purchased some pillows with my with my OnlyFans fun money, I got, like, latex pillows, which is supposed to be good for side sleeping. And they are they're incredible for side sleeping.

I've never had I mean, not since I was a kid. I've never had, like, 0% back pain after I sleep, but, like, I would wake up in the morning, and I was like, yeah. This is awesome. My body doesn't hurt at it I don't know. It they're nice, but my cat keeps trying to walk on them because they're Affirm, he thinks it's like a platform, and I have to be like, buddy, get your get your paws off my my dang pillow.

But earlier today, he was like he, like, figured it out. He had his head rested on the pillow and nothing he's so smart. But I think I I actually end up wrapping this up kinda soon. But before then, I'll talk about I recently got a I think it's called, like, a Thermopedic comforter or something like that. A Thermopedic mattress comforters or something like that.

But it's supposed to keep the bed cooler, and I don't know if it's doing a whole lot or if it's just been cooler these past couple days, but it's kinda hard to tell. I was really excited for getting it, and I, like, I took off my old I had, like, just one of those foam ads that you put above your mattress. And I had that, and I was just gonna, like, throw that out and use this new thing. But I'm glad I held on to it because I think I'll use both of them. I'll put the foam, and then I'll do my, thermopedic, whatever there it is.

And then my bedsheets, and then I'll be on top of it. Let's see. I don't wanna, like, and on that so I think I'll talk about what else is relaxing. The reason that I wanted to record a more low key thing like this besides everybody requesting something that wasn't about hypno was, I used to listen to this guy on Spotify, and his name is Let's Find Out. And I found him because I used to listen to him, he had just a track that was, like, 6 hours of rain noises or, like, an hour of rain noises.

And I would listen to that, and then that would end. And it would autoplay his other stuff, which was he makes, like, ASMR. And he would just, like, read books that he had. Like, he would read a book about the moon or whatever, and he he would just, like, read a page, and he'd be like, oh, that's interesting. And then he would, like, talk about something related to the page.

And I was like, damn. That's so sick. That seems like it's really fun. Damn. I just keep thinking of stuff to say.

Hey, buddy. My cat went to say hello. Hey, buddy. How you doing? I think you might be ready for bed.

I I should probably skedaddle. But let me actually talk about 1 more thing this time. I know I already said 1 more thing, but I was thinking about, stars, like stars in the sky, and I that, at my old job, we used to all hang out after work, and we had a buddy that lived right on the water. And there's, like, rules where I live where you can't you can't have a bunch of bright light on the beach after sundown because it messes with the sea turtles. And, he would be like, oh, let's go out here and let's just, like, hang out.

And so it would just be a bunch of us, and someone would bring, like, or or someone would bring, like, their dogs, and we would just hang out on a beach at night, and there was, like, no it's it was so calming. Sometimes we would just sit there and and quiet for, like, 15 minutes, and it's just like the cool breeze it's blowing in from the ocean, and the sky is, like, lit up with stars, and, like, that's all you have to to see. And we'd just you're, like, sitting there. And sometimes we would smoke. Sometimes we would just, like, drink sodas.

Nice, and I cherish that a lot. Like, I I really I think back, and I'm like, man, it was so cool to just, like, sit there with all my buddies. And that is probably the last thing I'm gonna talk about that relaxes me. So I hope you enjoyed. I hope I could help you drift off to sleep a little bit.
