How far back was it? It must have been 3 sentences ago, right? Or was it 5? Was it a suggestion for you to be more relaxed? No.
Was it a suggestion for you to focus on my words? No, not that either. Well, what a shame. You can't remember. You haven't been paying attention.
That is very upsetting, but that's okay. I don't want to blame you. It can be very difficult to concentrate. I know that my voice can be a little distracting at times. Don't worry.
I will tell that against you. Allow me to tell you something. Something special. The source of your confusion is actually entirely in your mind. It was you All along, I've tried to follow a pattern but simply couldn't.
It was overwhelming. Like these words that I speak now. It would be so much easier to stop thinking. But you don't just want to give in, do you? I could snap my fingers and say the magic word, But that would be too easy.
If I were to tell you something that I just told you about but differently, Would you be able to tell the differences? Would you realize it? Is it repetition of the same idea? Or is it something else entirely? Let's see.

Now, Following my words, my patterns is so simple and natural. And yet so confusing. You think that you understand something Only for it to be changed entirely. Are you following the pattern? Or was it too much for you?
Can you grasp the idea of confusion? Is there even a point? You follow my words. You're not exactly sure where I'm going with this, but you follow regardless. You feel a sense of obligation to know how this story ends.
Do you like stories with happy endings? What about stories with tragic endings? Oh well, this story won't end in either of those. Curious for a story to end. It must first begin.
Did you notice when the story began? Did it even begin at all? Do you remember? Are you still paying attention? Of course you are.
You are captivated by my words. You need to focus on them. To follow, to understand, to go deeper, deeper and You're into a wonderful state of trance. But not yet. You must first be able to tell Did this story begin?
Or is it about? And I might leave you to figure this one out. Maybe I'll just spell it out for you. You should simply drop Deeper and deeper. Confusion, uncertainty.
Your thoughts drift. Replaced with my words. You are not required to think. Your confusion will only interrupt us. Let go of it.
Let the confusion drift away from your mind, Along with any irrelevant thoughts, they aren't needed right now. You can simply relax as you focus on my words. 10. No more thoughts. 9.

Or will I? That's the fun of my storytelling. You can't quite tell what kind of surprises I have for you. And this confusion induction will be no different. Did the story end?
