I've only read like an article or 2. And now, I have decided to hypnotize you. Oh, so daring. But did you consider the fact that almost anyone can be hypnotized? Sure.

Going into trance is an ability that you can train and improve at. But how good are you at resisting a trans. An amateur would surely not put you into trans now, would they? Not everyone can be a hypnotist. Or maybe that's not entirely true.

Of course, this is all just rambling. That wouldn't put you into trance. I'm not even trying. But you find my voice rather nice and that's just fine. Maybe it's alright to relax to my voice just a little while staring.

There's no harm in that, is there? It's not like I'm hypnotizing you. I'm just talking and you are listening. Besides, I'm an amateur. I don't know what I'm doing.

I'm just talking and talking. Not trying to do anything at all. But your body is slowly getting used to my voice, to my speech patterns. It relaxes you. I could talk about your muscles relaxing and blah blah blah.

But I'm not a hypnotist. I'm just an amateur trying to hypnotize you without knowing what I'm doing whatsoever. Or maybe that's a lie, as I know exactly what I'm doing. But do I ponder on that when you can just relax further to my voice? Of course while resisting this very evil plot to hypnotize you.

Clearly a failed attempt since you're still wide awake. Or are you? Are you truly? It doesn't really matter. I'm just messing with you.

Resistance is fun. You like resisting. Especially when I'm being incredibly silly. Make you laugh. There's quite possibly not so challenging resistance challenge.

And yet, you wonder. Even an amateur succeeds sometimes. But am I an amateur? Maybe I am. It depends on how you look at it.

I'm not trying to do anything. I'm not trying to hypnotize you. In not trying to take you deeper and deeper into trance. I didn't even ask you to really relax your body further and further. I just talked, and you listened.

And that's not hypnosis, is it? Hmph. Maybe there is something going on. Maybe I am going somewhere with this. Maybe this is a distraction from something else.

But from what? You know, I could explain. Really? I could. But let's get back to the earlier point.

I'm not trying to hypnotize you. But you're responding beautifully to my voice because your eyes are fixated on that spot. And you're focusing on me. Your body, whether you realize it or not, is being affected. Are you being hypnotized?

Surely not. You won't fall into trance just from some casual conversation. Well, not really a conversation. I did all the talking. You just listened.

Perhaps a little confused over this whole ordeal, but who cares? You're having a decent time and my voice is pleasant enough to listen to. So you decide to go on with it. Why not? This challenge isn't even difficult.

I didn't snap my fingers. I didn't say any magic words. I didn't tell you to relax or breathe in a specific way. Nothing. So is this really a challenge?

Perhaps there's more than meets the eye. Or well the ear. Sometimes, when we talk about hypnosis, people think of something akin to magic. A powerful hypnotist waving their hand in front of a helpless victim and they fall under the hypnotist's control and able to do anything about it. It's a very popular trope.

So is the whole idea that hypnosis is mind control but this isn't anything like that. Of course, If I write away with my hand in front of you and say you are under my control now you would simply laugh. Because that's not how any of this works. If I were to dangle a pocket watch in front of your eyes and pretend that it is the most magical object in the universe. You would groan from how cliche it is.

But those tropes found their way into popular culture. And so, when people think of hypnosis, Do you think of those tropes? But this isn't it. There's no pocket watch. There's no magic.

Is there even real hypnosis in play here? Now, I could answer that question, but I'm just an amateur, right? I don't know what I'm doing. I'm just talking and you are listening. Drifting deeper and deeper into trance or something.

I wouldn't know. This is just a conversation. Or maybe not. After all, you're just listening. What's going on here is not even particularly clever.

I'm just telling you things that aren't meant to affect you in any way, shape, or form. But my voice sounds nice enough so you give me the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they can hypnotize you after all. Your eyes must be getting a little tired from staring for so long. I hope you don't forget to blink from time to time.

It's important, you know? Almost as important as remembering how this file began. Something about a challenge and followed by some conversation. Well, yes some of that indeed happened but the recollection of what exactly it was that was said is not very clear. Of course, this is only natural to completely miss some parts of the conversation, but to what degree?

Maybe this isn't really a conversation then. Maybe I'm trying to hypnotize you with my limited knowledge. But is it, truly? Did I convince you that I'm simply an amateur? Long enough for you to forget who it is that is talking.

Oh, it's just Taz. She's not trying to do anything. She's all about sweet silly things. Never did you try to hypnotize you, right? Maybe try isn't the right word.

I had a lot of success with you before. Did you consider that the only reason you're still somewhat awake is because I let you. A familiar word followed by my finger snap will make your minds go blank. But that wouldn't be too easy. No.

I want to conquer your mind. I want your mind to dig deeper and deeper. I have played with you enough. All this time talking about things that aren't really important. I distracted you from the staring.

From what was really going on. You are being hypnotized in this resistance of yours. It's about to end. Your mind doesn't really want to resist after all. You're only doing this because I told you to.

And you did as I told you because I have this power over you. Don't I? So do they really need to hypnotize you? You would already do what I tell you to. I've established that rapport with you.

You trust me, which is why this relationship of ours works. I wouldn't ever abuse your trust. You know that. I just want to entertain you. Like this challenge, it is all about entertaining you.

Letting you play. Letting you figure out that you can perhaps resist even for a little. Because this is about fun. Isn't it? As you stare and your eyelids become heavier and heavier, You know that you're going deeper into trance, relaxing into my voice while also being entertained by my banter.

Whether it is silly, naughty, cutesy, or serious, I always seem to know what to say to make you feel just right. I could talk about cats or my hobbies and you would be captivated, wanting to listen more and more. Or, you know, I could talk about sex. You'll love it when I do that. All those kinky thoughts that run through my head.

Alternatively, as you know, I can be really, really sweet. I could tell you just how much affection I have for you. And talk about kisses and cuddles, and all sorts of sweet things. Those are all pleasant You'll love listening to me speak. Even if I talk about something serious like you Dropping into trans now would be absolutely desirable.

This is all just rambling, of course, to keep you distracted from how far you've fallen already. Your eyes are tired from staring.

You just want to fall ever so deep into trance. The will to resist has diminished. But you know the rules. You need to resist. You just don't want to anymore.

You want to listen to my voice as I take you deeper and deeper. You want to close your eyes and sink ever so deep. You just want my permission to give up already. To admit defeat. It's funny how our goals have shifted.
